Andrea Hackl (Amsterdam)

Based in Amsterdam, Andrea is an interdisciplinary artist, working as choreographer and dancer, teacher and as well visual artist / film maker. She cherishes the alchemy between different disciplines, while the human body and its visceral poetry remain at the center of her work. She creates dance and multidisciplinary performances and produces short films.

Throughout her career she has danced and toured internationally in the works of other makers, and her own performative and visual work is being presented at festivals world wide. 

Bele Beltza was entirely shot on a 2.5 months long solo trekking journey in the high mountains of Europe – around the Mont Blanc massif and across central High Route of the Pyrenees, being shot in different countries: Spain + France [Pays Basque], Catalonia, Andorra, Switzerland, Italy.  Bele Beltza won the Pearl Artist Prize at POOL ‘21 International Dance Film Festival (Berlin, DE)and Honorable Mention at Cinedanza ‘21 (Modena, IT)
