Fabio Liberti

Fabio Liberti (Choreographer) is an Italian choreographer based in Denmark. After a career as a dancer in Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Denmark, Fabio initiates his career as a choreographer making works for Danish Dance Theatre (Denmark), Skånes Dansteater (Sweden), Norrdans (Sweden), MIR Dance Company Gelsenkirchen (Germany), Dark Circles Contemporary Dance (Texas), Mainfranken Theater Würzburg (Germany), Landesbühnen Sachsen (Germany), EDGE Dance Company (England). Fabio has presented his own independent work at numerous International venues and festivals throughout Europe.

His works have received prizes, such as 1st prize at RIDCC-Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition 2018 (Holland); 1st prize at Skopje DansLab 2017 (North Macedonia) and 2nd prize at Solo Dance Contest in Gdansk (Poland); 1st prize at Warsaw Zawirowania Dance 2016 (Poland); the Critic Award at Hannover International Choreography Competition 2014 (Germany) and the 3rd prize at CICC- Copenhagen International Choreography Competition 2013 (Denmark). Fabio's works were shown as well at the main Danish Museums: Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Charlottenborg Museum and Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art. In 2020 Fabio created his independent company MUOVI in Copenhagen and received subsidies by the Danish Arts Foundation for the creation of the works #ASIFILOOKEDLIKEME, As if, I have missed myself and What did I just do?

Michael Crotty (performer) From Springboro, Ohio, Michael Crotty is Assistant Professor and Coordinator of The Dance Program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Michael received his Diploma from CODARTS Conservatory in the Netherlands and an MFA in Dance from The University of Utah. His theater-dances have been commissioned and produced for The Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, Columbia College, The Utah Museum of Fine Arts, California State University, and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Michael has worked with The Montreal Symphony, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, American Apparel, The National Children’s Choir, and Jerome Meyer. Additionally, he was a member of The Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. He has taught at The University of Dayton, The University of Southern California, The University of Tampa, Southern Utah University, Point Park University, and Columbia College. Michael is also a Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst ©, Certified Pilates teacher and ABT certified ballet instructor

Alex McBride (performer) is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He received his BFA in Dance from The University of Arizona in Tucson and his MFA in Dance from Hollins University. Alex has danced and trained with San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, 10 Hairy Legs (NYC), The Limón Dance Company (NYC), and Basin Dance Collective (Lafayette). Alex is a highly sought-after performer and teacher. He has studied, performed, and taught across North America, Central America, and Europe. Most recently, he was nominated for a BESSIE award for his role in Adam Weinert's reconstruction, MONUMENTS: Echoes in the Dance Archives, which was staged at the New York Public Library. Alex is on the faculty at Perry-Mansfield in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Prior to returning to Lafayette, he was an Assistant Professor of Dance at Northwestern State University. Alongside his performance and teaching endeavors, Alex’s choreography and research are currently exploring the intersection of dance with geography and place.
